The rhinoceros, commonly abbreviated to a rhino, is a species of large, herbivorous land mammal that lives in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Rhinos are the second-largest existing land mammals after the Elephant. Rhinos are suprisingly intelligent, social, and empathatic animals, despite their poor eyesight.

They have some extinct relatives, such as the Woolly Rhinoceros, the Elasmotherium, the Paraceratherium/Indricotherium, and more.
